Dr. Bunescu’s research interests lie in the general area of machine learning, with a major focus on applications in natural language processing, music information retrieval, and more recently computational creativity. His work on the development of machine learning models for tasks in natural language processing, biomedical informatics, and computer architecture has been funded by grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
