Born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Attended private and public schools for K-12 education. Entered the USAF in 1956 and retired in 1983 with the rank of Colonel. Had tours in Morocco, Washington, DC, Maine, Texas, Ohio, Viet Nam, and Germany. Joined UNC Charlotte after retirement and have been here since. Have served as Lecturer, Associate Chair, Interim Chair, Associate Dean, and Interim Associate Dean.

Research Description:

Not an active researcher but interests lie in managing large software/hardware projects, and the role of ethics in computer science.
